Homs

Homs  c.T.rasmuss, acrylic (2012).

Art for the purpose of something: means that the artist cares enough about that something, in an effort to dedicate something to the cause.

  1. Wow! Very nice piece! It really holds one's attention without being overwhelming.

    1. Thanks Jason! The inspiration for this one is the ongoing brutality in Homs, Syria which has 'held my attention' and for some sad reason is like this piece, 'not overwhelming' because violence like this that seems to go unchecked, happens every 5 years or so somewhere in our 'un-barbaric' 'civil'ization of the future.
