Ode to Vincent Van Gogh; '100 Paintings in 30 Days' by C.T.Rasmuss (wrap up 1 of 4).

Pews with Hues  C.T. Rasmuss, India ink (2012).

The above painting was the spark for this entire 'marathon', click below to see it in its original state and context:

Not sure if I made it or not, I've been on vacation for the last few weeks, I plan on counting the final tally by the end of the week sometime.  I find so much to say on the entire experience, much more that expected; so for the next four short posts I'll be wrapping up this experience (which ended on December 21st at midnight).

One totally unexpected thing was an article my friend/colleague Shawn Abnoxious wrote, it was an based on the interview he had with me during the process.  His take was from when I stated that it was 'A War on Idleness", and i must say it was well done, and definitely kept me motivated to finish in style.

It was successful in so many ways, that I aim to turn it into an Annual Artist Holiday, where I plan on starting it again on November 22, 2013 at midnight to December 21st, where any artist can participate if they'd like.  I think Vincent would be quite surprised by this, that his proliferation was so contagious to this very day; as he liked to share his ideas freely and see others succeed, I believe this was to his standards, and tasteful in every aspect...even if my ego says so..
